Working as a journalist
I have always been a hard-working person and since I was a teenager, I started to work for a local newspaper. This job wasn’t profitable but money wasn’t a priority for me then. I wanted to get more experience and thanks to the enthusiastic staff, I got it.
During my university study, I had a great opportunity to work for the popular newspaper “The Boston Globe”. It was an internship at the university. Only a few of students were lucky to have practice there and I was among them. That was a big achievement for me. Although, the real thing was still to come. During the internship, I proved myself as a good writer and a director offered me to stay working there. I couldn’t believe that it was true. So in this way my career started.
Turn your hobby in a job
I have finished a High School with a strong desire to enter university and become a good professional in the sphere where I wanted to work. Since I was a child, I have always been extremely fond of writing. So it is not surprising that back then I firmly decided to be a journalist. A job should give a pleasure and if so, you will be successful and happy. This famous quotation “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” fully represents my opinion on work. I think, if all people do in this way, there won’t be unhappy people.
For a long time, I loved to work as a journalist. Although, in one moment I realized that I am fed up with this routine. All the tasks were so typical and required no imagination and creativity so I stopped to develop professionally. I wanted more challenges in order to make progress and get more experience. And one more significant thing is that I didn’t feel useful anymore. It gives me lots of motivation when my work helps somebody. So that’s why I decided to quit and find something new. Fortunately, now I have a great opportunity to work in this team and reach my full potential.
